Water Day at School

Morgan had water day at school yesterday. Mom volunteered to help all day, and let me say I am still exhausted. She had a BIG time playing on all the fun blow up bouncey water thingys. She also got to take some good whacks at a pinata. All in all, a good day!

Happy Belated Mother's Day

We had a nice, relaxing Mother's Day at Cee's house last weekend. Rhodes was as entertaining as ever (as seen below), and Morgan had a ball playing around with him.  Hope everyone else had a great Mom's Day!

Morgan finished swim lessons last week.  She thoroughly enjoyed herself!  We are not sure how much she learned, but at least she had a good time!  She loved her teacher and is still a fan of the pool.  She even went down the big slide a couple of times.  She zipped down so fast, I was never able to get a picture though :(

Weekend Fun

We had a fun weekend which consisted of a date night for Mom and Dad (Cee kept the kiddos) 2 birthday parties and a cook out with some friends. Morgan was so exhausted, she actually climed in bed on her own and said she was ready to go night night. A first! Here are some pics from our fun.

Our Weekend and Mo the Photographer

We have been so lucky with the weather lately.  The girls both love to be outside, and it's so fun to just sit and watch them.  Mary Alice took a couple of steps tonight on the deck, but we couldn't get any video of it.  She's still far from walking, but at least she is giving it a shot now.  Below are some of the "inside" pics from this weekend.  I found Morgan and Matt sitting on the couch, her with the iPad and Dad with the computer.  Such cuties!

Morgan has become quite the photographer these days.  She's getting pretty good at it too. Below are some of her more recent shots. The first shot is of me, but I didn't look very cute so I put a rabbit in front of my face.  She's gotten some funny pics of Matt lately, but I'll save him the embarassment and just put up one :)  She tries to get a good one of Ruben, but he just won't stay still.  Mary Alice usually obliges for her though!

Happy Easter!

We had a wonderful Easter and were so blessed to have both sets of grandparents join us for church and lunch. The girls had a blast and looked ADORABLE. Have I ever mentioned how I love having two girls that get to dress in matching outfits????

Morgan is a pro at hunting eggs. She has 4 Easters under her belt.

Morgan likes to pick flowers and hand them off. Mary Alice is the lucky party on this one.

Why is it so hard to get a picture of a 4 year old and a 1 year old at the same time? This was one of my best attempts.

Easter Egg Hunt and Kroger

Morgan had a great time at the church Easter egg hunt this year. I didn't get many good pictures, but trust me it was a good time. She is ready for the big day!

We rode in the car cart for the first time at Kroger on Sunday. Both girls were very thrilled. Morgan kept getting upset when we had to stop on aisle because I think she really thought she was driving it!

St Paddy's

We headed downtown on St Paddy's for the (children's) parade. Morgan always has a good time seeing the people and animals all dressed up. Mary Alice enjoyed some people watching too.

So... I made Morgan and I some matching dresses recently. We wore them to church on Sunday. We got LOTS of compliments, although I'm not sure people really thought it was cute but just couldn't resist commenting! Morgan was not into posing with me, but she did think it was so cool that she matched her mama.

Tubes

Mary Alice got tubes in her ears this morning. The poor thing has had back to back ear infections, so we were not too disappointed. We got up super early, but Mary Alice was still in a pretty good mood. She charmed the pants off everyone in the waiting room. The procedure wasn't too bad, but the aftermath was no picnic. Let's just say Mary Alice is not a fan of doctor's right now. She bounced back pretty quickly though. While Mary Alice was recovering, Morgan got a treat and went to the Children's museum with Cee and Rhodes. By the time she got back, Mary Alice was awake and ready to go. We played outside in this beautiful weather and all took advantage of being home together. All in all, not a bad day!

We haven't been up to much lately. Just hanging out and enjoying the weather. Below are two fairies we found playing in our back yard on Sunday :)
